Whitburn Academy strives to ensure that all pupils reach a positive post 16 destination after leaving school.

The Whitburn academy Opportunities for All team work closely with pupils from S1 to S6 to help develop the relevant skills and qualities to help pupils successfully transition from school to their chosen destination.

The Opportunities for All team can be found in the Employability Hub room in the support corridor.

If pupils are interested in any seeking assistance or information about their post 16 destination they should contact the House team who will arrange for a meeting with Gordon Hunter.

All pupils should have completed the following tests on My World of Work prior to meeting with Gordon Hunter as these will inform the discussions:

  • My DNA
