Whitburn Community Trust

Volunteer opportunities include IT buddies to support clients to use IT more confidently.  We have a small IT suite which is available to the public and IT on hand to assist with Job searching particularly for those on benefits clients are also able to print, access emails  and use the internet for research etc.  IT Buddies are on hand if required.

We also have a team of volunteers who provide signposting and guidance on a range of issues and who are also able to assist with developing household budgeting skills which might be of interest to some of the students and their families particularity those facing hardship but also those who are planning their future as they reach a transitional age of leaving school and going in to the job market or further education.

The WCDT has been set up to address issues like poverty, community spirit and environmental improvement for all that live, work and study in Whitburn and the surrounding area.
