29 October
p7 open night 2019

Over 250 parents/carers and children came to see some of the excellent learning opportunities and extra curricular activities that our schools offers.

On arrival, our guests were served Tea and Coffee in the Foyer and had the opportunity to visit stalls set up by the Be Herd Group, Rights Respecting Schools Group and the Robotics Club.   There was also the opportunity for the pupils to play Flappy Birds, Pac Man or Snake on our home made Arcade Machine.

This was followed by a brief welcome and introduction to the school by Depute Head Teacher: Mrs Marinello and Head of Bruce House: Mr Durkin.    Our guests were then split into groups and our S6 guides took them on a brief tour of various departments around the school, including Science, C.D.T., Art, Home Economics, Music, English, Languages, Learning Support, Social Subjects, Maths and Computing.

Feedback from our visitors was positive and we would like to thank everyone who attended, including the many pupils and staff who participated in a successful night.
