Christmas Concert 2019

The Art Exhibition featured work from pupils in S1 right up to S6.   It also featured some music by some of the pupils who were going to be taking part in the concert.

The show began with the Wind Band playing 'White Christmas', this was followed by the Percussion Ensemble playing 'Ding Dong Merrily on High'.   Next up was a Saxophone solo by Ellie (accompanied by Michael on the Drums) of 'Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and 'Two Christmas Imps' played by on the xylophone by Alyssa and Ross. Up next was the Rock and Pop Group with 'Son of a Preacher Man' and 'Valerie'.  Mia then played a solo of 'I Saw Three Ships' on the Cello.

The Woodwind Ensemble then played 'Asleep on the Hay', this was followed by Ross doing a solo on the cornet as he played the 'Christmas Song'.   The String Group then played 'Winter Palace', they were followed by the Staff Band playing and singing 'Rocking Around the Christmas Tree'.    The Concert ended with the Music Ambassadors performing 'Merry Christmas Everyone' with an encore of 'So here it is, Merry Christmas'.
