Lin Anderson Author Visit Nov 2019

We had the delightful storyteller Fergus McNicol in school entertaining our S1 pupils and their families with stories and songs.  Everyone took part in creating their own story maps, which are now on display in the school library.   Senior pupils and staff also visited Whitburn Library to hear Scottish crime writer Lin Anderson talk about her writing and how she got involved in forensic science.  We held a Reading Lunch in the library with free bookmarks and postcards for everyone, and one hundred copies of 'Blether' were gifted to senior pupils and staff as a present from the Scottish Book Trust.  This book was written by people all across Scotland and is full of true stories reflecting on the theme of Blether.
