Bring Your Own Device
At Whitburn Academy we believe there are many learning opportunities afforded by the use of mobile devices in the classroom, including: easy access to the internet; the ability to use forums for educational discussion; the ability to record audio and video; the ability to search and to share new information.
Your child has the option to bring their own device to school (e.g. laptop, tablet, phone) and use it in lessons if directed by their teacher. It is expected that all users of our AAL (Anywhere Anytime Learning) network will behave in a responsible manner to benefit fully from the advantages it offers.
