WHITBURN COMMUNITY FRIDGEWhitburn Community Fridge Project operated by Whitburn and District Community Development Trust is a project and supported in its operation by a team of volunteers. The Community Fridge is available for anyone in the whole community who is in need of support with food and household essentials. There is a variety of surplus food available as well as long life ambient products and household essentials. The Whitburn and District Community Development Trust asks individuals to register for this service. The team encourages people to take only 1 basket so there is enough for everyone. How do I access this?
Is there a cost?It is £1 to access Whitburn Community Fridge. This gives members access to our surplus food areas. We have some chargeable pantry items at a reduced cost of 10p, 30p and 50p.
