S1 - S2 Modern Languages
In S1 and S2, all pupils follow Broad General Education French and Spanish courses in which they learn to communicate, collaborate and build relationships, reflect on and explain literacy and thinking skills, engage with and create a wide range of texts in different media, develop their understanding of what is special, vibrant and valuable about their own and other cultures and languages, explore the richness and diversity of language, and extend and enrich their vocabulary through listening, talking, watching and reading.
Each topic is assessed using a wide range of strategies including:
- Presentations/Talks/Conversations
- Posters/Writings
- Listening and reading exercises
